Calling on those in Aberconwy looking for a graduate role or apprenticeship. The National Grid is recruiting the next generation of problem solvers and creative thinkers to help transform the energy sector to meet net zero.
National Grid owns and operates the electricity and gas transmission networks or ‘energy motorways’ in England and Wales and just for gas in Scotland, meaning our current and future workforce will be helping to make the UK’s net zero goals a reality.
They are currently in the process of hiring for their Graduate, Student Placement and Apprenticeship programmes and in applying for one of these programmes, you will have the opportunity to join a new generation of talent which will shape the future of energy in the UK. This year, for the first time, they are offering a new Gas Transmission Degree Apprenticeship where apprentices will study for a Bachelor of Engineering as part of their role.
‘’Many of our new joiners will hone their skills at a one-of-a-kind, world-class training centre in Eakring, Nottinghamshire, offering an unrivalled development experience. Each year we invest around £2.5m-£3m into training at Eakring and we are incredibly proud to be the first apprenticeship provider to be rated ‘outstanding’ by Ofsted for three consecutive years.’’
