This weekend I met with Parliamentary under Secretary of State for Transport, Karl McCartney MP at Llandudno Junction to talk with him about freight and connectivity.
Based on what you've told me I've made it part of Our Plan and you can still share your views on, and experiences of, our rail services here:

I'm campaigning for funding to develop the business case for decarbonising /electrification of the North Wales Coast Line. And the inclusion of those works in the RNEP (and before 2040!).
Sir Peter Hendy's Connectivity Review identified the importance of a UKNet and a gap in North Wales.
That is evident in the condition of stations, frequency and the quality of services (now in TfW hands) that prompts the huge numbers of complaints about overcrowding, delays and other issues to my office.
This is critically important.
North Wales works on an East / West basis. The North Wales’ road and rail connections are used tens of thousands of times daily for family, public services, leisure, business and transit. Llandudno Junction is the 2nd busiest station in North Wales (Bangor the busiest with the University).
Better rail services and the infrastructure to enable it would be the single biggest boost to our economy - helping people who want to visit, connecting us with other parts of the UK and even helping us move around along the coast better for work.
Cysylltiadau rheilffyrdd gwell i Aberconwy
Y penwythnos hwn, cefais gyfle i gwrdd â’r Is-ysgrifennydd Gwladol Seneddol dros Drafnidiaeth, Karl McCartney AS yng Nghyffordd Llandudno i siarad ag ef am gludo nwyddau a chysylltedd.
Ar sail yr hyn rydych chi wedi’i ddweud wrthyf, rydw i wedi’i wneud yn rhan o’n Cynllun ac mae modd i chi rannu eich barn am ein gwasanaethau rheilffyrdd a’ch profiadau yma:

Rwy’n ymgyrchu am gyllid i ddatblygu’r achos busnes dros ddatgarboneiddio/trydaneiddio Rheilffordd Arfordir Gogledd Cymru. Ac i gynnwys y gwaith hwnnw yn yr RNEP (a chyn 2040!).
Nododd Adolygiad Cysylltedd Syr Peter Hendy bwysigrwydd UKNet a bod bwlch yng Ngogledd Cymru.
Mae hynny’n amlwg o gyflwr gorsafoedd, amlder ac ansawdd y gwasanaethau (sydd bellach yn nwylo TrC) sy’n ysgogi’r nifer enfawr o gwynion am orlenwi, oedi a materion eraill i fy swyddfa.
Mae hyn yn hollbwysig.
Mae Gogledd Cymru yn gweithio ar sail Dwyrain / Gorllewin. Defnyddir cysylltiadau ffyrdd a rheilffyrdd Gogledd Cymru ddegau o filoedd o weithiau bob dydd ar gyfer teuluoedd, gwasanaethau cyhoeddus, hamdden, busnes a chludiant. Cyffordd Llandudno yw’r ail orsaf brysuraf yng Ngogledd Cymru (Bangor yw’r prysuraf gyda’r Brifysgol).
Gwasanaethau rheilffyrdd gwell a’r seilwaith i’w alluogi fyddai’r hwb unigol mwyaf i’n heconomi – gan helpu pobl sydd eisiau ymweld, ein cysylltu â rhannau eraill o’r DU a hyd yn oed ein helpu i symud o gwmpas ar hyd yr arfordir yn well ar gyfer gwaith.
